Cosbvi in Maryland seeks a licensed educator to provide itinerant-based instruction to visually impaired students, with and without additional disabilities, under contract with Local School Systems.

You will teach UEB, Nemeth, Assistive Technology and Expanded Core Curriculum, collaborate on IEPs, assess progress, and travel across counties to support multiple schools while ensuring health and safety standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Education or related field with Vision certification.
• Maryland Class C driver's license or equivalent driving record.
• Knowledge of IEP development, writing goals, data collection, and progress reporting.
• Knowledge of visual impairment, including causes, manifestations and adaptations.

Mansioni

• Instructs visually impaired students individually with and without additional disabilities.
• Instructs in UEB, Nemeth, Assistive Technology and Expanded Core Curriculum.
• Consults on classroom setup and adaptations to core curricula.
• Participates in development, review and evaluation of IEPs including writing goals and data collection.
• Conducts evaluations to determine developmental and academic status.
• Manages student resources.
