Summary: As the front-line client ambassador, the Universal Banker provides a remarkable experience for clients by understanding their transaction needs, educating them about products and services, and maintaining strong relationships. Responsibilities include assisting with account openings, managing transactions, and participating in branch operations to ensure excellent service and sales growth.

The role involves completing client transactions accurately, maintaining confidentiality, resolving issues efficiently, and actively participating in sales and community engagement activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality service in a friendly, professional manner.
• Build rapport, identify needs, recommend solutions, and encourage business growth.
• Promote bank products, services, and digital channels.
• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy.
• Ensure cash balances and comply with regulations.
• Handle client problems and complaints promptly.
• Assist with currency shipments, deposits, ATM balancing, and vault management.
• Support associates with balancing drawers and error resolution.
• Engage in client onboarding and follow-up calls.
• Strive to meet individual and branch goals, and keep management informed.
• Maintain product knowledge and participate in personal development.
• Identify opportunities to refer clients to specialists.
• Participate in promotional activities and maintain professional appearance.
• Adhere to company policies, mission, and values in all interactions.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Additional duties as assigned, including mentoring and flexible work hours.

Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency with PC software and banking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well in a team and resolve client issues.
• Experience in customer service and cash handling preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Traveling Universal Banker Expectations: Responsible for traveling within the Indianapolis area, including Carmel, Brownsburg, Fishers, and other communities, as needed.
