Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction LLC seeks a Supervising Telecom Construction Underground professional responsible for overseeing crews performing installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications equipment on sites nationwide. The role requires safety-focused leadership and coordination across multiple teams to meet project milestones.

The position requires 100% travel with multi-week assignments and a strong working knowledge of telecom construction, excavation equipment, and utility

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field or 3 years of related work experience.
• Prior supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and/or repair of telecommunications equipment to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and safety in completion.
• Supervise day-to-day activities and project progress, establish guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables.
• Ensure excellent communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist in an assigned area, department or project.
• Identify and course-correct project issues and risks, and assist in the development of response plans to resolve.
• Understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues.
• Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project.
• Communicate with company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed
