Position Summary:

The Underground Laborer will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring safe and efficient handling of company assets and supporting construction activities. Responsibilities include following crew leader's instructions, loading and unloading equipment, setting up work sites, hand digging, and maintaining safety and OSHA standards.

Primary Position Duties:

• Operate and handle company assets safely and efficiently.
• Follow directions from the crew leader.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment and supplies.
• Set up work sites.
• Hand dig with shovels.
• Restore worksite after construction activities.
• Assist in traffic control.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Follow all OSHA safety standards.

Position Requirements:

Physical Demands:

• Work primarily in the field outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Exposure to dust, temperature fluctuations, and high noise levels.

Additional Requirements:

• Use hands and fingers to handle objects and tools.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Stand, talk, and hear regularly.

Education or Skills:

• Previous construction experience preferred.
• Ability to meet physical requirements.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
