Traveling Underground Construction Supervisor

A successful Underground Construction Supervisor will oversee one or more underground telecommunication construction crews, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment. The role requires knowledge of telecommunications construction, excavation equipment, utility lines, poles, and troubleshooting skills.

TRAVEL IS REQUIRED: You will be traveling between Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, & Washington DC.

Qualifications include:

• Ability to work safely with or without supervision
• Coordination skills
• Physical ability to work standing, overhead, and in confined spaces
• Manual dexterity
• Ability to read maps and schematics
• Effective communication skills
• Experience with equipment like digger derricks and trenchers

Responsibilities include supervising, developing, and leading teams; reviewing tasks; maintaining processes; and communicating with stakeholders.

The pay range is $50,000 - $60,000.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or 3 years related experience
• Supervisory experience
• Project management skills
• Legal work authorization in the US
• Background checks including drug screening and driving record

Work environment involves outdoor and indoor work in various weather and terrain conditions, with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud.
