Job summary

Cable Services Company, Inc. is seeking an Underground Construction Crew Member for travel across the Northeast, including extended stays away from home. You will join a crew performing underground construction tasks and ensuring daily operational readiness at job sites.

Responsibilities include handling cables, managing materials, and maintaining safety standards while working long hours in varying conditions. Overnight stays may be required, with a focus on team performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Able to work 10+ hours in a day when necessary.
• Willing to work outside in varying weather conditions.
• Capable of moving materials up to 80 pounds.
• Must be reliable with work attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine construction-related activities such as pulling a rope, climbing ladders, using hand tools, digging with a shovel, cable handling, and cleanup.
• Stock truck with materials to support daily work assignments.
• Organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Set up traffic control signs and cones.
• Flag and direct traffic as needed.
• Complete daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks.
• Maintain company documentation (timesheets, truck reports, expense reports).
• Work safely and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties to help the team complete projects.
