Tradesmen International is actively hiring traveling TIG welders for projects around the South Haven, MS area. This first shift role pays $30-50/hour with $160/day per diem for travelers 60+ miles from site.

Join a team of craftsmen focused on safety, productivity, and top-tier workmanship on large-bore piping and structural steel. Candidates must have 3+ years welding experience and hold ASME IX qualification or be able to pass the test.

Competenze

• 3+ years welding large industrial piping and/or structural steel.
• Hands-on GTAW (TIG) on stainless steel and SMAW (stick) on carbon steel.
• Current ASME Section IX qualification or ability to pass a test.
• Willingness to work at heights, outdoors, and on data center construction sites.
• OSHA 10 or equivalent training; TI can provide training.

Mansioni

• Weld large-bore piping and structural steel per drawings and WPS.
• Lay out, cut, bevel, grind, and align joints; check fit-up and reinforcement.
• Read isometric, spool, and structural drawings; follow welding maps and codes.
• Help with hanging of supports, staging, and inventory of pipe and fittings.
• Follow safety rules, LOTO, PPE, and hot-work procedures.
