Job summary
Community Health and Wellness, LLC is seeking Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists to provide home and community Recreation Therapy in League City, TX. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
- CTRS or TRS/TXC certification required
- CPR/AED/FIRST AID certification required
- Driver's license and auto insurance required (100k/300k coverage)
- Background and reference checks will be conducted
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one home and community Recreation Therapy to children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and behavioral/mental health diagnoses
- Create tailored goals to meet the needs of individual clients
- Document on each session
- Communicate with other team members and service providers
- Turn in timely documentation including weekly invoicing, progress notes, and related paperwork
