Job summary

Caliber Therapies in Texas is seeking a passionate Recreational Therapist to build meaningful relationships in clients' homes and communities. You will assess, plan, and deliver individualized therapy, blending clinical expertise with compassionate, client-centered care to improve independence and quality of life.

The role supports telehealth when appropriate and requires CTRS, a drive to travel within the service area, and strong collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current CTRS credential through NCTRC.
• Ability to pass a background check and CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and create individualized, goal-focused treatment plans.
• Deliver one-on-one Recreational Therapy in homes and community settings; telehealth when appropriate.
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions addressing physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and leisure functioning.
• Promote community integration, independence, and meaningful participation.
• Collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
• Complete accurate documentation in line with policies and payer requirements with timely updates.
