Job Title: Retail Support Client Service Associate (Teller)

Our employees in Retail Support play a vital role in the success and daily operations of our branches across Zions Bank.

Retail Support is a team of traveling tellers and bankers who support Zions Bank branches throughout their geographical area in case of absenteeism. This position offers an opportunity to develop a broad skill set in banking fundamentals and provides excellent networking opportunities. Our mission is to support our branches in fulfilling strategic objectives and carrying out Zions Bank’s vision.

Minimum pay is $17 an hour.

The qualified applicant will:

• Process debit and credit transactions accurately, in compliance with policies and procedures, while maintaining acceptable balancing records.
• Identify and address clients' needs by providing services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activating ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve client issues through direct action or referral to appropriate branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities based on client needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be available to work at least 20 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with some experience in cashiering, customer service, balancing, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and banking operations.
• Strong balancing and customer service skills. Ability to cross-sell bank products based on customer needs.
• Experience in selling products and services based on customer needs is preferred.

Locations:

• Retail Support covers a geographical area. Mileage reimbursements are provided for travel over 25 miles round trip from home.
• This position primarily supports branches in the western Salt Lake and Tooele County areas. Occasionally, employees may be assigned to cover shifts as far north as Centerville/Bountiful, east to Park City, Kamas, and Coalville, and south to Draper and Riverton.
