Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Oversight
  • Lead on-site construction operations from groundbreaking to closeout.
  • Collaborate with project managers to align daily fieldwork with project scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Monitor work quality and enforce compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports using internal systems and client portals.
  • Coordinate logistics for workforce, equipment, and subcontractors across multiple trades.
  • Support punch list development and final project closeout procedures.
Site Safety & Compliance
  • Promote and enforce a proactive jobsite safety culture.
  • Lead safety meetings, site orientations, and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA, USACE EM 385-1-1, and client-specific safety requirements.
  • Develop site-specific safety and work plans in coordination with HSEQ teams.
Subcontractor & Trade Coordination
  • Direct field personnel, including craft workers and subcontractors, across all phases of construction.
  • Monitor and manage subcontractor performance and adherence to scope and quality expectations.
Scheduling & Progress Monitoring
  • Assist in schedule development and adjust micro-schedules to meet key milestones.
  • Evaluate progress and recommend solutions to avoid project delays.
  • Collaborate with the project team to address challenges proactively.
Must-Have Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of construction experience with a general contractor (commercial, industrial, or infrastructure focus).
  • Proven track record managing safety on active job sites.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades and craft workers on complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Comfortable managing field operations in fast-paced, change-driven environments.
  • Tech-savvy: working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, Adobe, or similar systems.
  • Ability to travel regularly across the U.S. to support ongoing and future projects.
Highly Desired:
  • Background in federal, state, or DOT projects.
  • Experience with heavy civil, deep foundations, utilities, excavation, or infrastructure builds.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications or site safety credentials.

Travel Requirement: 100% travel expected (projects vary nationwide). Must be comfortable driving between job sites and working away from home for extended periods.
