ARCO/Murray National Construction is currently seeking an experienced Superintendent with 5-15+ years of experience leading commercial projects. As an ARCO/Murray Superintendent, you will manage all administrative tasks associated with construction and field operations for your project from day one. Our goal is to empower you in the field and provide all the necessary tools to complete your project on schedule, within budget, and according to specifications.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Attend post-award review meetings for project preplanning
• Assist in preparing construction schedules, organization structure, staffing, and resource requirements
• Direct and control the construction project to meet specifications and schedule, ensuring profitability
• Support project manager/engineer in material shipments, approvals, and documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors’ activities to align with project schedules
• Inform all relevant parties of schedule changes
• Prepare and review project progress and cost reports
• Review requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and other documents
• Maintain communication with owners and their representatives
• Hold site meetings and report on project progress
• Maintain a daily diary of project events and contacts
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Make timely decisions, organize resources, and manage multiple activities
• Demonstrate leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Commit to quality and continuous improvement
• Uphold integrity and company values while exceeding customer expectations

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-25+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling software
• Valid driver’s license in your state
• Ability to meet physical demands, including walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.
