Job summary

Salisbury Moore, LLC seeks a Superintendent to monitor progress, guide job-site personnel, and transform contracts into completed projects. This role requires 100% travel to hotel renovation projects across the U.S. and close coordination with executive leadership to meet timelines and budgets.

The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and proactive communication with subcontractors, vendors, and clients, ensuring quality and timely delivery on all assignments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and supervision of the assigned field project.
• Manage field crews and subcontractors to ensure efficiency and adherence to timelines.
• Meet with President/Project Manager/Estimator to understand job specifications during the hand-off meeting.
• Develop and enforce a project schedule, ensuring subcontractors and field staff meet deadlines.
• Submit two-week look-ahead report weekly to the Project Manager and President.
• Maintain daily reports, job journals, and project documentation.
• Submit payroll and hours worked on time and accurately.
• Enforce job site safety rules and OSHA documentation.
• Hold weekly safety meetings with subcontractors and vendors with sign-ins per OSHA.
• Ensure minimal rework and complete the punch list on time.
• Oversee procurement of materials, supplies, rentals; ensure availability on schedule.
• Verify material orders and take-offs; address discrepancies.
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules to meet deadlines.
• Act as main contact for subcontractors and vendors.
• Complete subcontractor and vendor evaluations on project completion.
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies in manpower and subcontractor performance.
• Secure permits and schedule inspections; maintain job documentation on-site.
• Ensure change orders are signed by Owner before proceeding.
• Maintain a positive and professional company image on-site.
