📍 Locations: Nationwide | Project-Based Travel

RSP Group is partnered with a leading General Contractor seeking an experienced and driven Traveling Superintendent to oversee field operations on large-scale healthcare construction projects across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with client expectations, safety, and project goals.
• Oversee daily field operations, including subcontractor coordination, manpower planning, scheduling, and quality control.
• Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings and collaborate with project managers to address RFIs, change orders, and schedule impacts.
• Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules, tracking progress using MS Project or CPM tools.
• Enforce a culture of safety, leading pre-task safety planning, compliance reviews, and daily inspections.
• Manage site logistics, ensuring adherence to environmental and stormwater compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a lead superintendent on commercial construction projects (ground-up and interiors).
• Proven ability to manage projects up to $10M independently; experience with $10M–$70M projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam (or similar construction management tools).
• Experience in healthcare, data centers, or other MEP-intensive environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a track record of safe, high-quality, and profitable project delivery.
• Experience with ICRA protocols and managing construction in active or sensitive healthcare environments is a plus.
