Job summary

Tiello is seeking a Traveling Superintendent who will lead on-site field operations for large-scale commercial and multifamily ground-up projects across the United States. This role requires independent management of schedules, subcontractors, quality, safety, and project execution with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent running ground-up projects valued at $40M–$50M+
• Strong commercial and/or multifamily construction background
• Ability to independently lead large subcontractor teams and field operations
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
• Willingness to travel nationwide for extended project durations
• Proximity to a major airport preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
• Independently manage ground-up commercial and multifamily construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders
• Maintain project schedules, quality standards, and safety compliance
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and manage daily field operations
• Identify and resolve project challenges proactively
• Maintain organized project documentation and reporting
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented jobsite culture
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
