Job summary

NW Recruiting Partners is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead major ground-up commercial projects across Southeast Alaska, including Juneau. The role requires traveling with a six-weeks-on, one-week-off rotation, taking ownership from mobilization through turnover as the day-to-day field leader on each site.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, read plans, drive schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and contractual compliance on projects valued at $15 million or

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Experience leading projects valued at $15 million or more.
• Associate degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all on-site construction activities across multiple locations.
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, trades, and material deliveries.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Drive project schedules, productivity, and day-to-day field execution.
• Readiness to conduct safety meetings and maintain project documentation.
• Oversee project closeout and punch list completion; collaborate with project managers.
