Job summary

Storage Building Company is seeking a Traveling Superintendent with a strong background in structural steel to lead field operations on self-storage and commercial projects. This role requires extensive travel to project sites and a proven ability to manage crews while maintaining safety and quality.

You will coordinate schedules, supervise subcontractors, and ensure projects stay on time and within budget, reporting to project managers and engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent or foreman experience in structural steel/construction.
• Strong knowledge of steel erection, drawings/blueprints, and site safety practices.
• Proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors effectively.
• Willingness to travel extensively to job sites; home on weekends when possible.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• OSHA certification preferred.
