Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on medium-sized projects in commercial, hospitality, and housing environments.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, trades, and on-site personnel to ensure work progresses according to schedule and quality requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
• Ensure all work complies with project plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide clear updates on project status, milestones, and any changes to the scope of work.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, logs, and written communication related to project activities.
• Support the implementation of quality control procedures and verify that completed work meets required standards.
• Promote a safe and organized job site by enforcing safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in construction management for medium-sized projects.
• Hands‑on experience working as a construction superintendent or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and coordination in commercial, hospitality, and housing projects.
• Ability to manage and lead on-site teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Solid written communication skills for preparing reports and documenting project activities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities on site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
