Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee and coordinate field activities across various projects. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality projects while maintaining safety, efficiency, and excellence. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all field activities, including self-performing trades, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to all tradesmen and subcontractors while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Administer and document weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and attend Owner, Architect, and Contractor project meetings.
• Develop and update detailed project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager, Scheduling Manager, and Subcontractors.
• Monitor and enforce safety controls and procedures in compliance with the company’s safety policy.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Coordinate and manage inspections required by local regulatory agencies and ensure quality exceeds the owner's expectations.
• Manage the punch list and project closeout process to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years as a Construction Superintendent.
• Proficiency in understanding and interpreting general contracts, subcontracts, scopes of work, drawings, and specifications.
• 30-Hour OSHA Certification and familiarity with OSHA-related laws and regulations.
• Strong computer proficiency and organizational skills to manage schedules and documentation effectively.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple tasks, and maintain high-quality standards under pressure.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management , or a related field.
• Experience in managing large-scale construction projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize project outcomes.
• Ability to travel frequently and adapt to diverse project environments and locations.
• Experience with construction scheduling software and project management tools.
