Job summary

Actalent seeks a Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on complex commercial, federal, and mission-critical projects across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. This full-time role requires hands-on leadership, strong site supervision, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Travel will be extensive, with responsibilities including coordinating subcontractors, reviewing drawings, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• Strong experience in field supervision, subcontractor management, and project execution.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Knowledge of construction safety, quality control, and contract compliance.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• USACE CQM Certification.
• USACE EM385 (40-Hour) Certification.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain security clearance when required.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule performance.

We're seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on complex commercial, federal, and mission-critical construction projects throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

Work Environment

This is a full-time traveling position requiring regular assignments throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
