Job summary

First Finish is seeking a Superintendent to lead hospitality projects across the country, from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction. You will manage field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain schedules with the project team while traveling to sites nationwide.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in hospitality construction, a proven record of on-time delivery, and strong safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Superintendent on hospitality projects.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and paying close attention to details.
• Experience in out-of-the-ground complex renovations in occupied/unoccupied environments.
• Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Experience in managing, training and developing people.
• National Travel is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations, including site safety, subcontractor coordination, quality control, progress, and site cleanliness.
• Work with the project manager during preconstruction to plan logistics, phasing, milestones, inspections, and project execution.
• Maintain an accurate project schedule with the project manager, address changes promptly, and keep work on track.
• Communicate clearly with the project team about site conditions, changes in scope, subcontractor performance, and risks to cost or schedule.
• Hold subcontractors and vendors accountable while treating them fairly and building productive working relationships.
• Support the growth of field team members and maintain a strong working relationship with the client throughout the project.

Responsibilities

First Finish is seeking Superintendents who enjoy traveling and taking ownership of fast-paced construction projects. You’ll lead work in the field from preconstruction through turnover, with the support and resources needed to deliver a safe, high-quality project. You’ll also build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the project team.

• Lead daily field operations, including site safety, subcontractor coordination, quality control, progress, and site cleanliness.

• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and possess the ability to pay close attention to the crucial details of hospitality construction.
• Project experience should include out of the ground complex renovation work in occupied and unoccupied environments, urban and suburban work locations, and a complete understanding of high-level finishes.
• Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Experience in managing, training and developing people.
• Experience in computer technology.
• National Travel is required for this position.

Salary Range Information

Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to years of experience, project size capability (for Construction & Field roles) and internal company equity.
