Job summary

Composite Construction Systems Inc. seeks a Structural Framing and Steel Erection Foreman to lead a multi-trade crew on structural steel erection projects. You will oversee ironworkers, carpenters, welders, and laborers, ensuring alignment, safe work practices, and on-time production.

The role requires on-site leadership, planning, and strong communication to coordinate with engineers and subcontractors across traveling assignments lasting up to 10 months.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as Construction Foreman and structural steel erections.
• Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Willing to travel; projects last up to 10 months.
• Background check for military and federal projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead ironworkers, carpenters, welders, and laborers in erecting structural steel frameworks.
• Oversee installation of prefabricated metal wall panels.
• Direct construction of heavy concrete form systems.
• Ensure skeletons, walls, and forms are aligned and plumb.
• Organize tasks according to priorities and plans.
• Create schedules and monitor crew attendance.
• Assign general and daily responsibilities.
• Train workers and monitor performance.
• Manage manpower and resources to be adequate.
• Adhere to safety requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor machinery and equipment usage.
• Review expenditures to stay within budget.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Prepare progress reports for managers and engineers.
