Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Journey Traveler to provide patient-centered speech and swallowing therapy across multiple settings nationwide on 13-week assignments.

Travel and flexibility are required, with supervision of CFYs and adherence to ASHA guidelines. The role supports residents and families, plans care, and collaborates with the rehab team to restore communication and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Licensure in the United States (ASHA certificate desirable).
• Experience with pediatric and adult rehabilitation preferred.
• Flexibility to travel across the U.S. for 13-week assignments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in various settings to improve communication and swallowing.
• Provide speech-language pathology services and documentation.
• Supervise CFYs and students as required by state licensure.
• Coordinate with rehab team to optimize patient outcomes.
