Job summary

A healthcare rehabilitation provider is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services for adult and geriatric patients in Lamoni, IA. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with swallowing disorders and cognitive-communication deficits. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Speech Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable state.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide skilled speech language pathology services focused on functional and measurable outcomes.
• Treat swallowing disorders, dysphagia, cognitive deficits, communication disorders, and voice impairments.
• Participate in discharge planning and development of maintenance programs.
