Qualifications

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure in Iowa.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide skilled speech language pathology services focused on functional outcomes.
• Treat swallowing disorders, dysphagia, cognitive deficits, communication disorders, and voice impairments.
• Participate in discharge planning and development of maintenance programs.
• Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants where applicable.
• Maintain appropriate patient schedules.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
