Job summary

42 North Dental in Connecticut seeks a Specialty Assistant to support dentists and ensure a smooth patient experience across multiple locations (Enfield and nearby towns). You will greet patients, assist chairside, take radiographs, educate patients, sterilize rooms, and maintain supplies while traveling between sites.

Reliable transportation is required as you will travel between Enfield, Groton, East Hartford, Willimantic, Waterbury, Torrington, Bloomfield, Woodbridge, Newington, and Branford,

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• C.D.A. preferred.
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.
