Knobelsdorff Enterprises is seeking an experienced electrical professional to support our Energy division on solar installation projects in Illinois and the Midwest. You will execute and oversee photovoltaic electrical construction, mentoring apprentices and preserving safety, quality, and schedule.

The role requires a Journeyman license (or 8,000 hours), 5+ years in solar/electrical construction, and ability to travel across the Midwest.

Formación

• Journeyman Electrician License or 8,000 electrical working hours required.
• 5+ years of experience in solar or electrical construction.
• Familiarity with photovoltaic systems and DC/AC configurations.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Install photovoltaic (solar) electrical systems according to drawings and specifications.
• Apply knowledge of current electrical codes and best practices on the job.
• Complete material takeoffs and support tool/equipment procurement.
• Mentor and support apprentices and crew members in the field.
• Conduct or assist in AC and DC terminations and wire management.
• Interpret construction documents, wire schedules, and BOMs.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and field records.
• Collaborate with foremen and PMs to meet safety and production goals.
• Communicate effectively with crew, customers, and leadership.
• Contribute to a productive, respectful job site culture.
