Summary
- The Project Superintendent at Infinity Group leads on-site management for construction projects. This role involves coordinating various trades, ensuring adherence to schedules, and maintaining quality and safety standards. The Project Superintendent's expertise is essential for achieving successful and timely project completion.
Your Knowledge And Skills
- Assist in planning and achieving day-to-day objectives, contributing to task allocation within the team.
- Identify, define, and address complex problems through logical analysis, finding innovative solutions.
- Check and correct issues in existing systems and processes, ensuring smooth operations.
- Collaborate with internal resources and experts to meet client needs, assisting in managing client communications.
- Participate in client strategy discussions, providing input and support for problem-solving and service development.
- Exercise discretion in issue resolution, with moderate oversight from the Manager for non-routine situations.
- Work as part of the team, providing support to higher-level professionals, and learning from their guidance and feedback.
- May assist in onboarding and training new team members, under the supervision of higher-level employees.
- Education: Associate degree or specialized training beyond high school (e.g., technical/vocational programs).
- Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of prior relevant industry experience.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct onsite project meetings, verifying current conditions, site access, logistics, and phasing parameters. Coordinate with landlords and building management.
- Set up onsite workstation with MSDS, daily sign-in sheet, PPE, and current construction documents. Post project overview and safety signage visibly at all entry points.
- Maintain and update all assigned Project Management Platform (PMP) tasks daily, including start, duration, and finish dates.
- Upload daily photos to 'In Progress' and 'Client Photo' folders in the File Management Platform (FMP).
- Complete daily job reports and save to FMP.
- Conduct weekly reviews of PMP tasks and photo updates from a client perspective.
- Update and verify accurate hourly time allocations in the Human Resources Platform (HRP).
- Maintain current deficiency logs in FMP.
- Receive, inspect, and verify scheduled material deliveries.
- Visit building departments with the Construction Mobilization team, including introductory and progress visits.
- Schedule and confirm all inspection points required during the project duration.
