Veit & Company, Inc is seeking a Superintendent/Foreman to oversee daily site activities. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while managing lead personnel and maintaining communication with team members.
The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience and strong skills in communication and mathematics. Relevant certifications and a valid driver's license are required. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.
The Superintendent/Foreman manages daily site activities, ensuring projects are constructed in accordance with safety, design, budget, and schedule. The role involves direct supervision of lead personnel and staff on each project site.
The hourly rate may vary depending on geographic location, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience. Benefits offered to Union craft workers include 401(k) and Employee Assistance Program. For Union and Prevailing Wage roles, hourly rate and benefits may vary due to collective bargaining agreements and/or local governing authority.
Employee regularly required to lift or move up to 50 pounds, sit, stand, walk, bend knees, stretch arms, talk and hear. Occasionally required to stoop or kneel.
Regular exposure to environmental conditions, machinery, loud noises, variable weather (rain, snow, wind, cold, heat) and terrain. Frequent contact with environmental conditions on construction sites.
