Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent for a traveling role across project assignments nationwide. The position will plan, manage, and execute highly complex projects, lead the site team, and drive safety, quality, and on-time completion in alignment with company goals.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive field supervision experience, and the ability to coordinate with owners, architects, and subs. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and travel up to 100% is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s in CM/engineering preferred.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects is a plus.
• Proficiency with construction management tools and MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and quality programs.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Manages project site care, custody and control.
• Leads daily standups and trade meetings.
• Participates in project review meetings and buy-out sessions.
• Supports procurement and closeout activities.
