Job summary

Power Construction seeks a Traveling Senior Superintendent to lead on-site construction efforts for our Cold and Food Group projects in the Chicago area. The role oversees field coordination, safety, scheduling, and subcontractor management while coordinating with project management to ensure client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate holds a four-year construction-related degree with 8–20 years of CM or supervision experience, and is able to travel up to 100% with occasional return home weekends.

Qualifications

• Four-year construction degree required.
• 8–20 years of construction management or craft supervision experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.
• Strong planning, safety and site coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise full construction efforts to meet design, budget and schedule.
• Administer on-site safety program.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site staff and activities.
• Develop and manage project schedules and subcontractor coordination.
• Review submittals for contract compliance and manage changes.
• Provide on-site technical guidance and determine best construction methods.
