Job summary

Lemartec is seeking a Senior Structural/Architectural Superintendent for traveling projects across the United States. The role requires leading a team of superintendents and subcontractors, managing safety meetings, and maintaining schedules and QA/QC processes.

Eligible candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6+ years of superintendent experience; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. The position includes extensive travel and competitive compensation with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 6 years’ work experience as a construction Superintendent; 10+ years if no degree.
• Experience leading subcontractors and inspectors; strong scheduling and safety oversight.
• OSHA knowledge and compliance experience; proficient in MS Office and project scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of superintendents, project field engineers, and other field staff.
• Permit document administration and control.
• Complete review and understanding of subcontractor’s scope of work.
• Coordinate safety meetings and overall responsibility for project safety.
• Control project access and traffic.
• Tool/equipment inventory, coordination and rental.
• Coordinate, schedule and maintain records of all project testing and certificates including concrete and soil testing.
• Coordinate with PM, PCM and PFE daily regarding project progress, S/C performance, QA/QC and reporting.
• Complete “3-week look ahead schedule” and update master schedule with PCM.
• Complete Daily Log Reports (Procore).
• Maintain “As Built” drawings for final submittal.
• Coordinate and schedule project inspections.
• Final inspection and proper close-out documentation.
• Quality control of installed materials and equipment.
• Site layout and control of benchmarks.
