Traveling Senior Safety Specialist- Aviation

Join JE Dunn Construction as a Traveling Senior Safety Specialist- Aviation.

Role Summary

The Senior Safety Specialist will coordinate and implement the field safety program for routine and complex construction projects. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, identifying hazardous conditions, writing reports, and performing trend analysis, all aligned with JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and implement the field safety program.
  2. Conduct safety inspections and audits, document findings, and recommend abatement measures.
  3. Oversee safety orientations and compliance with drug and alcohol policies.
  4. Monitor subcontractor safety programs and participate in project meetings.
  5. Assist in accident investigations and coordinate injury management and reporting.
Senior Safety Specialist Additional Responsibilities

Handle complex safety hazards, provide advanced safety guidance, contribute to trend analysis, and support training and safety program development across multiple projects.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of construction safety experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in safety/health-related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in safety regulations, MS Office, and safety software.
  • Ability to recognize hazards and build team relationships.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license.
