Job summary

Superior is seeking a Traveling Construction Senior Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects across the Midwest from Ohio. The role reports to the Project Executive and requires strong leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management to deliver projects on time and within budget.

This position involves travel and temporary residence near project sites across the Midwest, with potential future work in additional markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+.
• Strong knowledge of construction management software.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and provide clear guidance to team members, vendors, clients, and executives.
• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership.
• Oversee all project finance requirements and lead the team through accurate billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost-to-complete.
• Ensure compliance with the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout.
• Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers.
• Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed.
• Own the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed.
• Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite.
