Job summary

Insight Global is hiring six Field Service Engineers to support a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer on-site in Phoenix, Arizona. The role focuses on assembling and installing new equipment at customer locations, following standard operating procedures, and performing system hook-ups to ensure full functionality.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance or repair experience with mechanical and electrical systems, comfort with PPE in a cleanroom, and willingness to travel 90–100%

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance or repair experience with equipment.
• Experience using mechanical hand tools like torque wrenches and sockets.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with PPE and cleanroom attire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel 90-100% during training.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience troubleshooting robotic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install new equipment at customer sites.
• Follow SOPs to complete system hook-ups and setup.
• Ensure equipment functions properly after installation.
• Travel to customer sites 10–20% initially, then more as needed.
• Work in cleanroom environments with PPE.
