Job summary

DEPCOM Power is hiring Safety Specialists to join our field teams across the U.S. with up to 95% travel. You will promote an EH&S culture, support safety training, conduct inspections, and help ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and internal standards on construction sites.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 510/30, first aid/AED certification, and a passion for protecting workers while helping projects stay on schedule and within safety budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of construction safety experience as a titled safety professional.
• Completion of OSHA 510 training course.
• OSHA 30 construction certification.
• First aid and AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safety & health training for employees and contractors.
• Assist with safety policies while complying with OSHA, DOT, and state rules.
• Stay current on internal EHS standards and applicable laws.
• Assist incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Promote an engaged EHS culture across the site.
• Conduct walk-through inspections to identify hazards.
• Support risk assessments, JHA reviews, and PPE assessments.
• Provide care for onsite injuries following standard care.
