Role Description

The Traveling Safety Manager is a full-time, hybrid role with a combination of on-site client visits and administrative work. This role oversees workplace safety programs across multiple client locations, conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.

The Traveling Safety Manager delivers safety training, supports implementation of company and regulatory safety standards, and partners with client leadership to improve safety culture and compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include documenting findings, preparing reports, assisting with incident and accident investigations, and tracking follow-up actions and metrics.

The role requires frequent travel to client sites, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with internal teams and client stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Solid knowledge of Occupational Health and Industrial Safety principles, with the ability to apply them in diverse work environments.
  • Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) program management, including regulatory compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in Safety Training design and delivery, with the capability to engage varied audiences and reinforce safe work practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Accident Investigation, incident reporting, and root-cause analysis to drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, ASP, or similar) are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, including proficiency with standard office and safety management software.
  • Ability to travel regularly, manage multiple projects, and build effective relationships with client teams and internal stakeholders.
