Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Safety Analyst to conduct structured safety data analysis, maintain compliance records, and support reporting tools across projects in Iowa. You will travel statewide, perform site audits with field crews, and help foster a safety-first culture while ensuring accurate recordkeeping.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (associate/bachelor’s preferred) and 3 years of safety/operations reporting experience, with proficiency in Excel

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in safety analysis, operations reporting, or compliance support.
• Proficiency with Excel and experience using Power BI or other data platforms.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Field leadership: Conduct site audits, gate checks, and building maintenance support directly with our field crews.
• Safety culture: Partner with crews to advocate for a proactive safety-first mindset.
• Coordinate data collection with field and office personnel.
• Ensure accuracy of safety recordkeeping across systems.
• Maintain and audit safety data across internal systems.
• Monitor training and certification compliance across regions.
• Support site audits and maintain documentation.
• Provide reporting support during inspections or audits.
• Travel throughout the state is required.

What You'll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 years of experience in safety analysis, operations reporting, or compliance support
• Proficiency with Excel and experience using Power BI or other data platforms
• Ability to manage multiple reporting tasks with high accuracy
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Offers are contingent on successful completion of background, drug test and DOT physical.

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: Complete and maintain training, use keyboard/mouse, lift 10-25 pounds, stand, walk, work alone in remote locations
• Occasionally: Climb stairs, lift 26-55 pounds, operate vehicles

The wage range for Traveling Safety Analyst is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00.
