Job summary

Aston Group is seeking an experienced Risk Management Consultant (RN) to support multiple facilities across Florida. This role requires leading risk management and QA programs, investigations of adverse events, and coordination of legal and survey readiness efforts.

Extensive travel (3 days/week) is expected to support facilities with regulatory compliance and chart reviews. Ideal candidates bring Florida RN licensure, a nursing degree, and CRM or equivalent RM experience, with strong analytical

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Florida RN license is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or equivalent RM experience preferred.
• Experience in regulated long-term care settings with compliance focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility‑wide Risk Management and Quality Assurance programs.
• Investigate adverse events, grievances, abuse, falls, elopements, and high‑risk incidents.
• Review and trend incident reports to identify risk patterns and corrective actions.
• Oversee Medical Records practices across assigned facilities.
• Coordinate legal chart reviews related to litigation and subpoenas.
• Support survey readiness and regulatory education across facilities.
• Partner with Administrators and regional leaders to communicate findings.
