Job summary

Anabranch Solutions, LLC is seeking field technicians for riverscape restoration projects across the West. You will join traveling crews of 5–10 people, building and monitoring low-tech process-based restoration structures in remote locations.

The role involves eight-day hitch schedules with 10-hour shifts, camping at worksites, and provided safety gear. Housing may be provided during hitch periods, with per diem for group meals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely lift and carry 55 pounds and handle heavy equipment.
• Willingness to travel and work in remote, rugged field conditions.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Flexibility with shifting hitch schedules.
• Self-motivation and situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Locally acquire natural building materials and stage them for construction.
• Construct BDAs and PALS and other low-tech structures for riverscape restoration.
• Operate hand tools, chainsaws, grip hoists, post pounders, and other gear safely.
• Assist in traveling with crews to remote project sites and camping at worksites.
