Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking a motivated individual to join our in-store merchandising team. This traveling role involves setting up displays, rotating products, and maintaining shelf integrity across locations.

You will travel to multiple stores, often with overnight stays, to support retailers and ensure strong product presentation. No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training and ongoing team support.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable engaging with customers and store management.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally, with overnight stays as needed.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role. Travel roles may require various degrees of travel up to 50% or more of the time. • Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Interested in traveling within and outside of your home state, with overnight hotel stays
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
