Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking a reliable in-store merchandiser to support retailers, set up displays, refresh shelves, and monitor inventory to maximize sales. This is a traveling role requiring regular travel, including overnight stays; compensation includes hourly pay and benefits.

Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and additional hours upon request. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and willing to travel across states.

Qualifications

• You’re 18 years or older.
• Able to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to travel to work locations.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within and outside your home state, with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs.
• Build displays and end caps, reset shelves with product rotation, and track inventory.
• Travel as a core requirement of the role, with potential for up to 50%+ travel.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role. Travel roles may require various degrees of travel up to 50% or more of the time. • Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Interested in traveling within and outside of your home state, with overnight hotel stays
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
