Job Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable Reset Merchandisers to join our team for a cosmetic reset project in Albertsons stores. As a Reset Merchandiser, you will be responsible for executing store-level resets of cosmetic displays and sections to ensure compliance with planograms and merchandising standards. Your role will directly impact the visual appeal and sales of cosmetic products within the Albertsons locations.

Los Angeles, CA | Thousand Oaks, CA | Huntington Beach, CA

Position
Reset Merchandiser – Cosmetics and General Resets - Seasonal (project-based with potential for additional assignments). Full-time employment from January through April 2025 with additional assignments available starting in May 2025.

Hours
40 Hours per week
Monday - Friday between 6 am – 6 pm

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: Up to $25.00 per hour (varies by location and experience)
• Meal Per Diem: $25 per day for overnight stays, reimbursed the following Thursday
• Mileage Reimbursement: $0.41 per mile
• Paid Drive Time: at hourly rate except for the first 20 & last 20 miles

Key Responsibilities

• Planogram Execution: Implement planograms and schematics to reset cosmetic displays, fixtures, and sections according to provided instructions
• Product Placement: Remove, stock, and arrange products to ensure proper organization and merchandising flow
• Process Returns: Pack merchandise and process customer returns following company guidelines
• Fixture Adjustments: Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures to match planogram specifications
• Compliance: Complete resets according to standards and timelines
• Communication: Maintain communication with store managers, team leads, and supervisors about progress and challenges
• Reporting: Document task completion through photos and reporting tools

Travel Requirements

• Travel within 100–200 miles of the hiring area
• Overnight travel and hotel stays (up to 50%) by land or air
• Reimbursement for hotels & travel expenses will be processed the following Thursday

Requirements

• Experience in retail merchandising or related fields preferred
• Familiarity with planograms is highly desirable
• Cosmetics reset experience a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
• Use of ladder or step stool as needed
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor
• Flexible hours including early mornings or late evenings
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, proof of insurance
• Clean driving record (3 or fewer violations in last 36 months)
• Smartphone with internet access
• Basic computer skills (email, word processing, spreadsheets)
