SeniorDent On-Site Health Care is dedicated to delivering exceptional dental and oral health services to residents in Senior and Long Term Care Facilities. As a Dental Hygienist with our growing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the oral health and well-being of our residents. We are seeking a traveling Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Perform professional dental cleanings, take and develop x-rays and review them as required
- Remove plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
- Apply fluorides to help prevent tooth decay
- Use a range of different dental instruments and ensure that all instruments are sterilized and clean at the end of each session
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines in all aspects
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings
- Must have ability to work independently and must possess a valid driver's license
Requirements
- Must be willing to travel the state of Nebraska; Areas Included are Grand Island, Omaha, and Lincoln
- Full-time 36 hours per week: 4 RDH traveling days and 1 Admin Day
- Background check will be completed
- Minimum 21 years old
- Must have current/valid license as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Nebraska
- 3 years experience is required
- CPR certification or obtain CPR certification within 90 days of employment
- Knowledge of standard dental safety procedures
- Ability to maintain medical records accurately
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Good organizational skills with an eye to detail
- Must be willing to travel 4 days a week and be able to lift up to 40 pounds of equipment
- Must have basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as well as excellent clerical skills
- 36 hours a week
