Job summary

Texas Dentistry is seeking a Traveling Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join a patient-centered, compassionate dental family. The role involves assisting doctors, teaching patients and parents, and maintaining a safe environment with OSHA-compliant protocols.

Travel across Mesquite, Terrell, and Kaufman is required, including Saturdays. Ideal candidates have at least one year of dental assisting experience and CPR certification, with comprehensive benefits such as health/vision/life

Responsibilities

• Set up and seat patients for doctor – ensures rooms are properly stocked, cleaned, and set up for treatment. Gives great patient care while following protocols for setting up patients.
• Patient Notes and Documentation – correctly documents all patient notes and initials correct forms. Ensures consents, medical clearances, and prescriptions are completed.
• Cheerfully assists the doctor chair side with all procedures.
• Medical Records – ensures all records have been received for patient and releases records to providers/patients needing copies.
• Assist doctor by using appropriate materials and instruments while treating patients, following all OSHA and Practice Safety Precautions; accurately take radiographs to reduce the need for retakes and exposure to radiation.
• Treatment Plans/Charges – ensures that treatment plan charges assigned to patient, and discounts are correct.

Job Description:

The Dental Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of dental assisting duties while promoting quality dental care for our patients and a safe environment of minimal stress.
