Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment across customer sites. The role requires working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls, with extensive travel on a 10-day tour schedule.

Compensation is hourly, $30–$60, based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth within a fully in-house engineering and service team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supermarket/rack/industrial refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage).
• Universal EPA certification.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.
• Position requires pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Safety sensitive position with drug testing.
• Travel requirement: 10-day tour schedule with long workweeks.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support for industrial refrigeration equipment in food/beverage and refrigerated storage.
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls and compressors in ammonia central systems.
• Adhere to all safety policies and governing requirements.
