Quality Control Manager (QCM) – Federal Construction

Role Overview

The QCM ensures projects meet the highest quality standards, overseeing compliance with federal, DoD, and Navy requirements. This role requires on-site presence five days a week, with potential relocation assistance. Projects typically last 1–3 years, with opportunities for continued work nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project quality control plans
  • Monitor construction work, materials, and compliance with contract specifications
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and documentation
  • Maintain relationships with owners, clients, and subcontractors
  • Ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of projects

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of federal construction experience
  • CQCM certification and experience with three-phase QC processes
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and systems
  • Experience with federal and healthcare projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam
  • Ability to work any shift as required (hospital construction may occur 24/7)
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening

Preferred:

  • Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs projects
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience managing $20MM+ projects
