Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a full-time traveling QA/QC Lead for an Advanced Technology project across data centers, pharmaceuticals, and EV/battery segments. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and implementing a project-specific QA/QC plan in alignment with contract documents, owners, and architects.

You will supervise QA/QC staff, ensure ethics and compliance, manage document control, RFIs, and inspection processes, and collaborate with the project team

Qualifications

• Experience planning and implementing project QA/QC plans on construction projects.
• Strong leadership and staff development abilities.
• Deep understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of the project-specific QA/QC Plan in coordination with the project team, the owner/architect team and the contract documents.
• Lead, supervise and develop all Turner QA/QC staff, including input on performance appraisals.
• Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
• Develop knowledge of contract documents and code compliance.
• Implement QA/QC procedures, document control, RFIs, material samples and change order tracking.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors and vendors.
• Inspect and arrange for third-party testing and inspections; report results.
• Direct removal and replacement of non-compliant materials/work and document remediation.
