Job summary

Green Alpha Property Management in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Traveling Property Manager to support our rapidly growing Mississippi portfolio. The role requires up to 80% travel and overnight stays up to two months.

Base salary ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 per year, with opportunities for advancement within our multi-state portfolio. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of multifamily management, LIHTC experience, and proficiency with AppFolio, QuickBooks, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multifamily property management experience is required.
• LIHTC experience is required.
• Must be able to travel up to 80% and stay up to 2 months at a time.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide property management support for the Mississippi portfolio as needed.
• Offer remote oversight to properties regardless of location.
• Support Regional Property Managers in each state as needed.
• Monitor past dues, maintenance requests, and vacancies; assist in leasing activities.

Green Alpha Property Management is the property management business of a real estate investment firm headquartered in Raleigh, NC and with a growing presence in the Southeast United States. We specialize in acquiring, managing, and enhancing commercial real estate properties with a foundation centered on improving the lives of our stakeholders. Due to our large scope of properties, there are many different avenues for career progression.

As the Traveling Property Manager out of the Raleigh, NC area, you will be a key piece in how we manage our rapidly growing Mississippi portfolio. This utilitarian role will help bring organization to our growing portfolio through key property management duties as outlined below, while maintaining a positive, upbeat, determined attitude. Travel will be required up to 80% and may require overnight stays up to 2 months at a time. The annual salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Supports, as needed, on any property that may need assistance from corporate.
• Provide remote oversite to properties, regardless of geographical location
• Supports Regional Property Managers in each state as needed
• Monitors past dues, maintenance requests, and vacancies
• Support in leasing activities across the portfolio

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of multi-family residential Property Management experience required (Certifications preferred)
• LIHTC experience is required
• Strong desire to uphold personal honesty, integrity, and work ethic
• Experience with computer systems and applications (AppFolio, Quickbooks, Word, Excel, timekeeping applications, etc.)
• Maintains a passionate and enthusiastic attitude
• Drivers License
• Show Legal documentation showing ability to work in the United States
