Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent for our Building Division. This position travels to projects in Ohio, Detroit, and Missouri, with heavy travel required to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

You will lead field operations, develop and manage project schedules, coordinate subcontracts and drawings, establish budgets, and drive safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of field operations experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Willingness to relocate as needed.

Overview We are currently seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent Building Division. This person would travel on projects in Ohio, Detroit, and Missouri. Heavy travel is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of field operations
• Create and manage project schedule
• Coordination of subcontracts, drawings, and specifications
• Establishing budgets and controlling cost
• Identify the causes of cost variances and eliminate negative variances
• Identify project risk, and work to mitigate it
• Communicate quality standards to each subcontractor and vendor
• Conduct systematic quality control inspections
• Follows company safety program, laws, and OSHA operating standards
• Manages jobsite cleanliness
• Prepares daily time cards for personnel under supervision
• Prepares daily logs

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• 6+ years of experience
• Basic computer skills are preferred
• Specific roles may require relocation
